The Drama Group has been running at St Philip & St James' Church since 1958 and has performed a wide range of musicals, revues and pantomimes. The January pantomimes (right) are very popular in the local community and pack the halls every year.

The drama group is based at St Philip & St James' Church and although many members are drawn from the church, a large proportion come from other local churches and the community.

There is an open policy to the group that all who would like to perform on the stage are given a chance and some very talented individuals have emerged. Despite the amateur status, many audiences are surprised by the quality of performance that has been achieved in past shows.

In January 2008 we are performing our latest home written panto Goldilocks.
